Community Conversations: Growing Beyond Trauma
Gather in groups. Connect and be inspired. Learn about managing trauma, academic, and life stories. Learn about coping skills, support systems, and managing adversity. As we get educated in public, transformation occurs. Community dialogue has the power to shift things. Workshops are designed for professional development, schools, and nonprofits. Train the Trainers
This workshop is for your staff. The curriculum focuses on coping skills, managing adversity, and how to facilitate community conversations. After this training, the Staff could then go and share the content of the trainings with their clients. This is a great way to integrate information in your organization beyond a one-off event. Train the Trainers is designed to be a more sustainable, long-term training approach. The book “Rebuilding Your Life After Trauma: A Coping Manual” is also used in the educational trainings.
